Sending You Compassion

I hope you are healthy and well, and just want to acknowledge you and the spectrum of feelings you are going through right now. Embrace the sadness, worry, fear, anger, overwhelm and anything else that’s coming up for you. This is an important time to go into our bodies and feel. Ask your body what it needs in this moment. Give it to yourself, whether it’s a long, deep breath, quiet time to meditate or go outdoors. Ask your higher self to release what is not serving you. You can imagine a giant rose in front of you and “throwing” the unwanted energy into the rose and blowing it up.

I had a stressful few weeks. I really felt like I was going downhill emotionally, matching everyone’s fear and panic. I was having trouble sleeping because my mind was racing, thinking of the worst. Depression, anxiety and panic attacks have shown their face a few times of my life so it’s familiar territory, but scary. When I’m in this place, I feel paralyzed and can’t seem to access my own inner wisdom and tools.

I asked my higher self to allow divine energy flow through me to serve the planet. I’ve intuitively read the energy around several people who are channeling this Divine/God/Christ/Source energy in their healing work. I sense a calm, loving energy around these people. Musicians, painters, writers, and other artists also feed themselves through this creative, divine energy.

I had the urge to reach out to a friend of mine who is a Reiki Master and sound healer. I told her that I was feeling sadness and fear. She sent me a link to a meditation call that was scheduled the next morning in a Facebook group. I joined the Zoom call the next morning and did the meditation.

I was literally shaking the entire time! I believe I was shaking all of the fear and anxiety I’ve been holding onto the past few weeks. I instantly felt love and a sense of connection to our planet. I felt acknowledged from the spirit guides in the meditation and was asked to heal a part of the planet.

It’s been a few days after that meditation and I still feel a sense of calm. My mind isn’t focused on the uncertainty of the future. I’m living in the present and taking one day at a time. If you don’t believe in spirit, it’s important to change your mindset to what you want in your life, not what you don’t want. Be informed of the news you need for the day, but please don’t get sucked into the rabbit hole of reading excessive news.

Get outdoors. Our bodies need sunlight and fresh air. Drink lots of water and get a good night’s sleep to keep your immune system strong. A meditation I’ve been doing is to imagine a beam of light from Source going into my body and visualizing my immune system boosted to 100 percent. Then, I ask to boost the immune systems of all people on planet Earth to 100 percent.

When we are in the space of serving, we can suppress fear. Check in with your friends and neighbors and ask if they need anything if you are already planning on going to the store.  If you need help, please reach out someone! Call or text a friend.
